Austin was finally born at 2:58 am. While he was being cleaned up, Andrew went over to talk to him, and he turned towards his voice! Andrew has been talking to Austin for 41 weeks (yes, even before conception). Grandma and Grandpa, Nana and Papa, and Stephanie were all there, waiting at 3am!!! We are so lucky! Everyone had a chance to marvel over our baby boy before heading to our house for a few hours of sleep. We were taken to our room at around 5am. Austin lay on his side and stared at us in bed. We drifted in and out, waking to look at our little miracle! He was very alert, right from birth! Grandma and Grandpa Sharpe visited this morning before heading back to Mount Forest. They are very proud!
