We can't believe how fast the time is going already. This would have been Rachel's first day at home alone, but luckily Steph came over, bearing both lunch and dinner (thanks, Steph!) and darling Bella. We went for a huge walk, which was great for Austin since he has been having trouble sleeping at nights. When daddy came home, Austin had his first bath in the big bath tub! Since the sponge-bath a few nights ago was such a disaster, we took Nana's advice and immersed Austin in warm water. He loved being in the tub with daddy, and didn't cry until the end, when we quickly wrapped him in a towel and warmed him against mommy. Rachel and Austin are getting into a "routine"…eat…poop…eat…poop…sleep…eat…poop…eat… Austin spends most of his day time awake, but is sleeping really well through the night (most nights). After a quick feeding and changing, he usually drifts back to sleep easily. Some nights he is scared of the shadows. He is becoming more aware - and we actually caught him playing with the toy on the side of his cradle.
