July 22nd: Austin's favourite pastime is walking now, while holding on to our fingers or the furniture. He always knows exactly where he wants to go, which is usually after our cat, or up and down (and up and down again) the stairs. He has actually crawled up the stairs unassisted a few times. The baby-proofing of the house continues... He has many favourite words now, including "Ma-ma-ma" (yay!) and "Ted" (?!) and "K-t" which he says to Casey. We can hear him trying really hard to repeat words. His favourite pastimes (besides walking and chasing Casey around) are still doors, cords, and anything involving water (including the Casey's water bowl). We see what people meant when they said that boys were busy! Austin had his first sleep over this month - Aunt Steph and Uncle Chris took him for the night so we could celebrate our third anniversary. He also had his first weekend with just Daddy, while mommy went to the cottage for the annual girl's weekend. So, in other news, Mommy got LOTS of sleep this month! He has now been to two weddings, Greg and Kathleen's, and Paul and Christina's. He enjoyed both of them, and slept under the table at both events (in his car seat). He woke up in time to have a few dances at the last one.
